Step 1: Launch Hakko Monitouch V-SFT V5.4
After installing Hakko Monitouch V-SFT V5.4 on your PC, launch it from the Start menu or the desktop shortcut. You will see the following screen:
Click on the "New" button to create a new project.
Step 2: Select the HMI model and screen size
You will see a dialog box that asks you to select the HMI model and screen size for your project. In our case, we will select "V806i-TD" from the drop-down list and click "OK".
You will see a blank screen with a grid and a toolbar on the left side. This is where you will design your screen.
Step 3: Add component parts to the screen
On the toolbar, you will see various categories of component parts that you can use to create your screen. For example, you can use "Basic Parts" to add buttons, lamps, text boxes and more; "Graph Parts" to add charts, gauges, meters and more; "Alarm Parts" to add alarm messages, history and more; and so on.
To add a component part to the screen, simply drag and drop it from the toolbar to the desired position on the grid. You can resize and move the component part by dragging its edges or corners. You can also change its properties, such as color, font, text, value and more, by double-clicking on it or using the property window on the right side.
For example, let's add a button that will turn on a lamp when pressed. First, drag and drop a "Button" from the "Basic Parts" category to the upper left corner of the screen. Then, double-click on it and change its properties as follows:
Name: BTN_ON
Text: ON
Color: Green
Font: Arial
Size: 16
Bold: Checked
Action: Write Bit
Device: M0 (this is a memory bit that we will use to control the lamp)
Data: 1 (this means that when the button is pressed, M0 will be set to 1)
Your button should look like this:
Next, drag and drop a "Lamp" from the "Basic Parts" category to the upper right corner of the screen. Then, double-click on it and change its properties as follows:
Name: LMP_ON
Text: Lamp ON
Color: Yellow
Font: Arial
Size: 16
Bold: Checked
Action: Read Bit
Device: M0 (this is the same memory bit that we used for the button)
Data: 1 (this means that when M0 is 1, the lamp will be on)
Your lamp should look like this: aa16f39245
